3rd Army (ARCENT) Patton Hall Headquarters Complex, Shaw Air Force Base
The Army prototype for the Command and Control Facility is three stories. The design team realized that a two story structure, with intersecting Atria that divided the building into zones would provide daylighting, security separations, and significant structural cost reductions. Utilizing Integrated Project Delivery LS3P put the savings to good use with upgraded finishes and site amenities. The design team received an OUTSTANDING rating from the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast. The C2F is USGBC Certified LEED Silver and the Tactical Equipment Maintenance and Company Operations Facilities are USGBC Certified LEED Gold.
