We are pleased to see Neal Prince Studio’s Fisher Knob Residence on Lake Jocassee featured on page 95 of the Summer 2014 issue of At Home in the Upstate. Set into a beautiful lake-front lot surrounding Lake Jocassee, this Monastery inspired residence rises out of the hillside to greet its visitors from the lake. The 5,100 sq ft, 4-bedroom residence is a montage of unique and iconic elements married together to provide a sense of having been added to over time. The predominant bell tower anchors the residence to the site and is a respite for a cozy night in front of the oversized outdoor fireplace. Each of the living spaces on the main level, including the Master Suite, open onto the covered, wrap-around stone terrace which provides spectacular views of the lake, and houses a casual outdoor dining area. Clad in stone, with copper accents, this castle-like structure forges casual living with a unique old world design.
