LS3P WINS FIVE DESIGN AWARDS

On May 4, 2013, LS3P was honored during the 2013 AIA-SC Spring Conference Awards Gala in Charleston, SC. Among the numerous projects entered by AIA SC members for projects located anywhere in the United States or abroad, LS3P gratefully received five awards during the evening, which included a special President’s Award.

HONOR DESIGN AWARD – CU-ICAR Center for Emerging Technologies (Greenville, SC)

A 60,000 SF building located in the heart of Clemson’s research campus providing office and research lab spaces.

 

MERIT DESIGN AWARD – Converse College – The Heath Senior Student Housing (Spartanburg, SC)

A LEED Certified project providing on-campus apartment-style housing for the senior students at Converse College.

 

UNBUILT MERIT AWARD – Richland School District Two Community Center (Columbia, SC)

The Community Center is the result of a school district’s vision for a facility that will become an interactive hub for activities focused on providing learning resources for the entire community.

 

UNBUILT HONOR AWARD – CU-ICAR Research One (Greenville, SC)

A 75,000 SF building located in the heart of Clemson’s research campus providing high-bay research and office spaces.

 

PRESIDENT’S AWARD – Converse College – The Heath Senior Student Housing (Spartanburg, SC)

The Brick Institute presented LS3P with their highest design award which includes a gift of $2,000 to be given to the University of their choice.
