Hurricane Florence Relief: Salvation Army of the Cape Fear

Our Wilmington community was hit hard by Hurricane Florence, but the area is proving to be resilient.  We are grateful for the prayers, good wishes, and assistance you have offered the Wilmington office this fall.  There are many stories of bravery and sacrifice in service to others, and I am proud to say that LS3P is living up to our reputation as community leaders in these efforts.

This morning, we welcomed Marty Fuerer, Director of Development for the Salvation Army of the Cape Fear, to present him with a check for $13,000 toward hurricane relief. This was made up of a $5,000 corporate gift, $4,000 in employee contributions, and $4,000 in LS3P matching funds.  Additionally, we delivered many boxes of donated goods.

We are overcome with gratitude for the generosity of our fellow LS3P-ers!  We are blessed to work with an amazing work family of thoughtful people.
