LS3P has completed over 14 million SF of green projects.  A substantial percentage of our designers are LEED and/or Green Globe accredited professionals, including each of the architectural and construction administration team members who will lead your project.  As a member of the US Green Building Council, we are proud to have been listed as one of Engineering News-Record’s “Top 100 Green Design Firms.”

We are passionate about designing excellent environments for education, and we believe that schools which are more sustainable are healthier, more efficient, and more conducive to learning.  Research shows that factors such as better indoor air quality, increased natural light, better temperature control, and improved acoustics are all linked to higher student attendance and achievement.  When buildings are designed for sustainability and performance:

    • Operational costs decrease.
    • Average daily attendance increases.
    • Faculty sick days decrease.
    • More learning takes place.
    • Better learning takes place.

With our diverse portfolio of sustainable projects using LEED and other green rating systems, we have the expertise and firm-wide resources to implement strategies which best fit your project parameters. We will evaluate fundamental decisions such as building orientation, materials selection, and site design which can have a huge impact on creating healthier environments for learning.  We can provide strategies for maximum efficiency in heating, cooling, and daylighting, which can decrease operational costs as well as boost student achievement.
