EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT: PRACTICE
Katherine leads the firm’s marketing, business development and professional services as Executive Vice President of Practice. As former Office Leader for the Raleigh office, Katherine designed and managed a wide variety of projects including academic, civic, corporate and healthcare. A Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, she has served as AIA North Carolina president. In 2009, she was awarded the AIA North Carolina William Deitrick Service Medal for her service to the profession. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from NC State University in 1988 and was Valedictorian of her graduating class.
Katherine serves on the LS3P Board of Directors, helping to guide the vision and direction of the firm. She is a proud mother of twin daughters (dedicated “soccer mom,”) an avid music lover and enjoys hiking, golfing and skiing. She also volunteers her time by serving on the Board of Directors for Wake Education Partnership and on the Education Committee for the Raleigh Chamber. Most importantly, she loves working with her clients and enjoys the interactive collaboration and creative process that goes into every design project.
