MIKE MARTINEZ, AIA, LEED AP

Mike has worked on a variety of projects for medical, religious, education, and higher education institutions. In his intense pursuit of design excellence, Mike recently served as the project manager for the Sandhill Research and Education Center (tracking LEEDTM Gold Certifi cation) for Clemson University. He also worked with the Greenville Hospital System (GHS) on the MD360 project at Scuffl etown Road. Mike is currently working with GHS on the West Georgia Road Medical Office Building project. His experience includes the programming, planning, new construction design, and renovation design.
When not in the office, Mike enjoys traveling to look at cool architecture, attending Clemson football games with his family and friends, watching NASCAR, organizing fellowship and continuing education programs for Leadership Greenville Alumni members, spearheading initiatives close to his passions, and playing on his iPhone and Wii. Most recently, Mike worked on a Leadership Greenville committee to save the Shriners Hospital. Mike served on an AIA South Atlantic Region Academy of Architecture for Health task force that organized the first AAH Regional Conference in the Upstate.
