Eric Aichele, Principal in LS3P’s Charleston office, has served as Principal in Charge, Project Manager, and Project Architect for a diverse portfolio of project types. Having led the design of over 100 educational projects, including new and renovated college and K-12 school facilities, Eric also served on the SC Public Schools Facilities Committee to help develop standards for school design and construction, and sits on the Architectural Advisory committee at a local school. He also has extensive experience with resort/hospitality, higher education, civic, and student housing projects.

As a graduate of Clemson University with a Master of Architecture degree, Eric received the AIA School Award at Clemson in 1978. He served as President of AIA South Carolina in 2005, and received the chapter’s Presidential Citation for service to the profession in 2008. Eric has a particular passion for improving the educational environment for children throughout the Carolinas through better design.

Outside of the office, Eric is a college sports enthusiast, enjoys travel and hiking, and spends his free time working on his family farm.
