Urban
Edge Studio is an independent specialty design studio
of SeamonWhiteside +Associates. The studio’s members
focus solely on urban infill, smart growth, and new urbanism.
By allowing its members to practice design they are passionate
about, and focus on a niche, urban edge studio will flourish
as a leader in urban design. Though independent, urban
edge studio maintains the benefits associated with a large
landscape architecture and civil engineering firm through
its collaborative relationship to SW+A. SW+A’s 25
years of excellence in due diligence, planning, civil
engineering, permitting, planting design, and construction
administration will be a frequently used resource at the
studio’s finger tips. Civil engineers and due diligence
coordinators will be consulted throughout the design process
as needed. This means that clients will take home more
than just a pretty picture, clients will walk away with
a cutting edge urban design plan that works. |

Established
in 1963, LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD. offers strategic visioning,
architecture, and interior architecture services to
clients throughout the southeast. The editor of DesignIntelligence
has called LS3P “the most local of the global
firms and the most ‘world-class’ of the
locals.” Expanding throughout the Southeast, we
have a staff of over 250 talented individuals in Charleston,
Columbia, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Wilmington. This network
of offices allows us to think globally and act locally;
we are large enough to offer total design capabilities,
from facility assessment and site selection through
interior design and collective expanded services, all
within the firm, yet small enough to give personal attention
while drawing off the firm’s total resources.
LS3P has received over 300 awards for excellence in
design from AIA and other organizations for utilizing
practical yet creative solutions to satisfy client needs.
